A Stakeholders Meeting was held at the Modern University for Business and Science on 16 April, 2014. A two-day workshop took place in Egypt on the 2nd and 3rd of April 2014. The workshop was hosted by Beni Suef University and led by University of Alicante. A tow-day stakeholder management training Workshop was held at Modern University for Business and Science in Lebanon on the 9th and 10th of January 2014. Partner University representatives from Lebanon, Jordan, Palestine and Egypt have attended the workshop along with the Glasgow Caledonian University representatives who conducted the training. Students Services management workshop was held at University College of Cork in June 2013 in order to explore principles and practices that have proven beneficial in reducing stress, increasing performance and heightening a sense of connection to others and to self. Through exercises and visualizations developed a greater sense of integrity and authenticity, with the ultimate goal of better serving students. After having obtained the first results of the self-assessment, a 3-day study visit was carried out in April 2013 in the Glasgow Caledonian University, UK, with the participation of partner universities’ representatives. The objectives of this study visit were to facilitate peer learning and to create leadership of the change at the strategic level of project partner institutions (in support of sustainability of the project results), as well as to discuss and promote student affairs effective management
The Medwel project aims at enhancing and improving services offered to students at the universities participating in the project. It also aims at reinforcing cooperation and exchanging experiences between the contributing universities.
